I don't think that it has shit to do with prayer, I think that they were just being a nasty person. But I understand where you are coming from. I also have family members that love drama and live for it because their lives are so miserable and they spent 40+ years dicking around with their lives. In due time, your drama will wear off as they find another "drama" to serve as a catalyst for their misery.
Obviously these people have problems that they would attach God's name to something so horrid as to defame their own blood. If you're going to be a shitty person, there's no need to drag other factors into it. But then again, that's exactly what shitty people do, haha.
