Is it normal i'm obsessed with my wife?

Have been with my wife for 23 years, and yet I still find that I love her more and more. No matter what, I just can't get her out of my mind, and I never feel like I can adequately express my love for her fully enough.
Does anyone else feel that way about their spouse/significant other?

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

You're obsessed with something you have legitimate access to and fulfills your desire, and not just a fantasy, that's hell healthy one :')

It is somewhat rare - but totally normal.

My wife and I are both still very much in love with each other after 10 1/2 years. We don't expect that to change.

that's actually beautiful! but does it work both ways? i mean,do you receive the same importance you give?

I believe so. I think we were each other's first really serious relationship.
We raised 3 kids together, and have 5 grandkids now. I have absolutely no regrets that we met, nor the years since. It was, for instance, because of her, that I met God and became a Christian (actually met God, not just began believing in Him. I was an atheist when we met)

Congrats! That is healthy and wholesome and good. Now, where are the lectures on how you achieve that?

This is offensive to aromantic people.

No it isn’t, mature aromantic people take no issue with others being in happy relationships.

Yeah it is. It is excluding the aromantic community.

I think it's sweet. Just as long as it doesn't develop into the "if I can't have you no one can" obsession. Maybe if you feel you're seriously obsessed with her, rather than just being genuinely in love, maybe that's something to explore with a therapist (I don't mean that in a demeaning way - just an honest thought since obsession and love are different)

That's great, congratulations! Just one piece of caution be careful, it hurts even worse when and if she ever falls off that pedestal.

Obsessive love can change almost immediately to obsessive hate.

Hopefully that never becomes an issue for you both. Love is good❣️

This is not true. I don't think anyone will be obsessed with the same women for this long.
