Is it normal I'm obsessed with fictional people?

  • It is normal for a child to sometimes have pretend friends. It is not normal for this behaviour to continue on into adolescence. An adolescent should be able to distinguish clearly, the difference between what is imaginary and what is real.
There is nothing wrong with having a vivid imagination through adolescence, or throughout adulthood, but not recognizing fact from fiction is a problem.
This could be a result from not having enough exposure to real experiences, in your early childhood development.

I think that seeing an expert in Sociology is sound advice for you, as others had alluded to.
