Yeah, I am a bisexual guy and I have been with members of the bi community (I am 36 so... I was outed before the 90s came.). I have a few straight friends I had something like this happen with and one is still a good friend. The others tried to puff up and act like they weren't obvious by being with me almost all the time but they glow when they are perceived as 'straight'.
Men are bad in a different way. Bi men in my mid 20s were not fun because they'd be 'in love' and then 2 weeks later decided they wanted to be with a woman.
