Is it normal i'm attracted to socially awkward guys?

I have always been asked out by guys who are jerks or considered "Hipsters" and stylish. Looking back, I have always found guys who were kinda nerdy or socially awkward attractive. I mean I'm talking guys like michael sarah and Donald Glover who are really sexy to me. I feel like these guys focus less about image, money, and how many women they can have a night to brag to there friends, and more about having fun in life. A lot of my friends think I'm crazy. One of my friends even told me that I'm not built for a guy like that and because my curvy "Black" shape (racist much!!?) I would be intimidating to those type of guys which is crazy. right? Is my taste in guys normal?

    The reason I voted to say it wasn't normal is that if you were the norm, I would have been about 5,000% more successful with women than I actually have been.

    I'll give you nerdy, but how is Donald Glover socially awkward? He's always bragging about the amount of woman he gets in his songs, he's done stand-up, he's confident in front of a camera...he isn't awkward at all.

      That's his alter ego Childish Gambino. For the most part he seems like a average black nerd due to some of his interviews. I would say a little less nerdy than actor Jordan Carlos another black nerd in my book. There's another guy, a poet name Joshua Bennett he gets in front of thousands of people but he still seems like he runs across awkward situations more than most. You can be confident and be nerdy, I see it way too much but I guess there is a difference beween a nerdy person and a person with nerdy ways idk

    I am not sousaly awkward just chubby and my friend came up with a thing I'm not fat im protecting my 6 pack besides there is a relly fat kid in are class he's awkward but a dick ps he's popular don't go for it there duches

        Lots of geeks have social status these days. It's usually a quirky sort of cool. It's fairly common for people to like nowadays. =)

    Most of the guys that I know that are hipsters seem to care more about whether or not what they are doing it "counter-cultural", and the color of their hair and quality of their accessories and coolness of their clothing.

    But normal.

    Normal. Awkward can be endearing. Just a heads up, though: in my experience, awkward, nerdy guys are just as likely to be assholes as outgoing guys. "Awkward" does not equal "nice".
