Is it normal I'm ashamed of my honest opinion about abortion?

  • The older I get the more I realize life is not black and white ,there are so many shades of grey. You don't know what is going on the woman's head when she is making this decision. If she is in a crappy relationship with a jerk, who would make a shitty parent or something bad happened, or she doesn't have a job or she just can't be a mom at this point for one reason or other.

    • I fully agree. i'd never pretend to understand what it means to make that decision, and I wouldn't blame someone who made it. I'm not talking about what it means for the mothers, but what it means for the fetus. Do we end one life for the convenience of another? As you said: Those things aren't black or white. I just wish we could acknowledge that. It feels like in order to make an ethically difficult decision we have to pretend like isn't one.
It's like when you buy an iPhone or cheap clothes, you know that some people in asia have suffered and maybe destroyed their lifes to make this. That doesen't mean you can't buy an iPhone - But when you do, you should know what it means.
