I've been telling them that. Weird thing is if it's not people getting offended for me it's the opposite: people telling me I have white privilege (I'm a light skinned Hispanic). They expect me to prove I'm Hispanic to them when I tell them and I don't speak the language, but my parents do, so I can't prove it. My family is broker than theirs.
