I live in the US close to the Mexican border. A lot of my closest friends are Hispanic, so this topic is kinda a biggie for me. Basically though, I think that we just need a better "filtering system". I don't blame people for wanting to cross the border into the US at all! Most of them really truly are just people who are trying to find better lives for themselves and their families. Unfortunately there are some "bad eggs" amongst the bunch. There ALWAYS is, it's just how the human race works.
With that being said, I definitely don't have all the answers to what the solution to this problem in my neck of the woods might be; I just know that it is absolutely absurd for families in Mexico to wait around for YEARS trying to come here. There's a lot of places in Mexico that are pretty damn messed up, to say the least. I've been to Mexicali only, personally. It's...different than the USA, to say the very least. It makes me feel thankful to be born here. But yeah, Mexico has a lot of great things going for it too, so please don't get me wrong. I just think it should be MUCH easier to move here for the majority of immigrants. Most people aren't bad, you know...there's definitely bad eggs, we just need to get better at finding them. /end rant
Is it normal I'm annoyed by 90% of Gen Z supporting illegal
