It's normal, but just remain on your guard. Think about why it's just sex and friendship (which is basically the components of a relationship) and not official. Consider if he has a wife and wants you on the side. Have fun, enjoy your time, but with any FWB relationship remind yourself that you are capable of being loved, and this relationship isn't the best you'll be able to get.
