I'm in the same situation...except I'm a guy trying to find a girl...just like you I have a lot of friends who are the opposite sex, but they mostly seem to want to be friends more than dating...it sucks...so best of luck to us both!
I think people in general are a bit too sketchy, and I want my relationships to be with girls who I could potentially see myself marrying, so I agree that in this case, patience is the key.
Is it normal? I'm 18 and have never been on a date.
