I had the same choir teacher from middle school until my last year of high school. He became like my second dad. :) As a matter of fact I still talk to him every now and then through email, and we (the girls and I) always try to make it to choir concerts so we can see what he's done with all the new students. While Joybird does have a point that some teachers do usually forget names and have a special student per semester etc, I dont believe thats the case for all of them. Some, like my choir teacher, genuinely take an interest in you and seek to be support for you when you need it. I mean, i've been out of high school for four years and like I said before, I still talk to my choir teacher!! :)
