I teach kids and love them dearly when I'm teaching them but ... the next year I can't tell you their names :( It sounds like she is a real friend when you need help but please don't read too much into it coz she probably has at least one special student each and every year. She justs want you to do well in your life and helping you through a difficult time. I'm sure she would be flattered to know how much you value her, but hopefully she is helping you to combat your fears and face life's problems as they come your way.
I'm sure she will always be happy if she sees you around though :o)
