Why aren't they the best people to look up to? They're women who enjoy sex, aren't ashamed of that fact, and have figured out away to make money from that enjoyment of sex. That doesn't mean everybody should try to be a porn star, just that they shouldn't be shamed or put down or treated as something lesser because they earn money for having sex on camera. They aren't harming anyone, and people benefit from their work.
I'm sorry but sending the message to young girls that it's okay to spread their legs for any random guy on the street isn't exactly doing a great service for society. Whatever happened to self-respect and dignity? Sure pornstars aren't criminals but they are far from being role models.
