Speaking as a guy, I always thought it was pretty douchey to say "oh it must be your time of the month" when a woman's being difficult.
It basically dismisses/illegitimises a woman's ability to be pissed off for any other reason than because she happens to bleed every month, which is toxic as all hell.
@EnglishLad As a girl, I agree with THIS 100%! It invalidates women's feelings. And makes them think we are upset and don't know why or it's for no reason. I don't even get PMS or angry when I am on my period. Whenever I am angry or upset there is ALWAYS an external reason for why I feel that way, that I can explain quite easily, because I am extremely self-aware. Saying that I am angry because of hormones or because I am on my period, gives the impression I am not self-aware enough to know why I feel the way I do, or to overcome that.
Is it normal i like to push out my period blood?

I don't get mad when I'm on my period. I get mad because of outside stimuli.

I’m a quiet, sympathetic male. Why don’t you sit down, but your feet up while I get you a cup of tea.
