I have done many drawings. I've done a large amount of oil paintings also over the years. I have always found it strange, but i get very frustrated and in a bad frame of mind the following 2-3 days...even longer, if I am drawing or painting. My mind gets in a excitable state and it's like a hangover for several days later. I have to repeat it again and again if I'm not finished with the painting or drawing which is always the case. I'm worried to death, anxiety, and my mind is going all over the place all night every night re-visiting every single mark on the paper, and planning planning eveyr detail i can think of...strategies.
It's not good for me. But once I give it up for a couple weeks, i feel way way better. At least I've done a ton of paintings and drawings over the past 7 years. It was so hard, but did it.
