Is it normal i like taking a hit more then the actual high?

Now don't get me wrong I love getting high I enjoy it, but there's something about taking a hit that always fascinates me. Each hit is always different I like seeing the chamber on a bong get milky inhaling from a joint hitting a gas mask or just a regular pipe. The taste of the weed is always a little diffrent the sound of a bong being cleared or just even how it looks when its being cleared. I've been smoking for years so its nothing new but I still find it fun on seeing who takes bigger hits trying out diffrent pieces and Ashcatchers and chambers and stuff like that. Anyways does anyone else like this or am I just weird?

    Taking the hit feels amazing. The high helps the hit. They compliment each other. I'm sure if you were to take a hit and not feel anything mentally, the hit wouldnt be nearly as nice.
