  • Hebrew was there before Israel and it's one of the major languages of Judaism. I don't particularly associate it with Israel for that reason.

With that said, why Hebrew? It's not exactly an important language on a global scale. You'd be better off with Spanish, Portuguese or French.

    • Well, in today's world it's most commonly associated with Israel, especially after the September 11 false flag attacks where the nation had garnered more support from Western nations.

      • Tbh I don't take sides in the Israel-Palestine conflict. If these two groups of people can't be fucking grown enough to share a secular, pluralistic society then neither deserve a country.

Although I feel for innocent Palestinians who are killed, I'm not sympathetic to Palestine as a nation state. The world doesn't need yet another Islamic fundie shithole, got enough of those already.

      • Great - just what this site needs, yet another conspiracy theorist fucktard who believes the US government hired suicidal extremists to hijack passenger jets to fly into the World Trade Centre etc.

Or is the real reason you don't like Israel that you are of Arabic decent?

        • Don't think being an ethnic Belgian = being an Arab :D
Anyway, just because you don't agree with it doesn't mean you should insult me, that just shows how close-minded you are and how you obviously have nobody close to you.
          Have a good on, dear.

    • I love the way it sounds - may sound silly, but it's such a motivator for me when a language sounds nice to speak.
