Is it normal i left my apartment out of anger?

So I moved in with a friend about 4 months ago and at first, everything was great. After a few days, I noticed she didn't really pick up the messes she made. I was ok with it at first because the school semester hadn't ended and I figured it would get better since she now had a roommate but I was wrong. She has lived there for about 3 years, 1 1/2 of those alone. When I moved in, she had already completely furnished the apartment with the exception of the washer, dryer, oven and dishwasher. What pisses me off is when she leaves cans, foods, blankets, just everything of hers in general is always strewn in the living room. Even though the couches and other furniture are hers in there, I still feel like she should pick up her shit. No one wants to look at that all the time. I pay half the rent, my names on the lease, so I feel like I have the right to be angry. It doesn't feel like I live there, it feels like I'm living at someones house instead. I left the apartment because I was angry and I don't think I should have to. So is it normal to be angry? Should I Go back and tell her how I feel?
