Is it normal i lashed out ?

Basically my mum passed away about 2 months ago and pretty much everyone at work thought I was a psychopath or something because I didn't cry every time someone brought it up. A lot of people were bitchy to me (including a few managers) and would treat me like I was stupid.

About 3 weeks ago I kinda lashed out at one of the managers. He told me I always seemed to be frowning at him so I cold him it was because I didn't like him very much and then I ignored him for a couple of shifts.

About 2 weeks ago I told a few people I do care about stuff, I just don't really cry about it. Everyone was nice to me for 1 shift after that. But I think that manager must have said something about what I said to him because everyone's being kinda bitchy again.

Should I apologize? And what should I say to him?

Apologize and blame it on the mourning you are feeling over your loss. It's proably true.
