Is it normal i hop when i shoot basket ball?

Whenever I shoot a basket I am literally hopping. I always make the basket but I am always hopping on my feet. Is this a normal way to shoot? Does anyone else have this habit.

    I do the same thing.. it's probably the only way I can even make a basket though, I'm not too good at sports.
