try to focus on Math. Math on the SAT is really just grade 6-9 math. While things like reading, writing are built up over time (i.e through reading books, journals, newspapers or magazines) math can be studied. Especially if your math mark is low, it can be improved easily in 1-2 months of studying. Reading is harder to prepare for but do practice and read books. I was subscribed to news magazines throughout high school and I read newspapers often (on public transit). Either way, its important to start preparing in advance. I started to prepare for SATs 3 months before my test. I finished an entire prep book from start to finish during my prep. In the end, I had a super harsh essay reader and my essay mark was horrific (compared to my practice essay scores). Source: 2170 on SAT, 8 on essay
Is it normal I haven't made a high score on the ACT for college?
