Is it normal I have the urge to hit my pets?

  • Why do you assume I'm a guy?

    • Because this type of behaviour is very rare in women.

I killed several rabbits as a (9 years old) kid, strangled them. I lost the urge after we moved house, but I remain unable to "feel bad" for my actions.

I find it very strange that you'd speak out and "want help" as people like us don't really care about their actions or stopping them. I can easily talk about this on the net to the "nobody people" but no way in hell would I say this to my parents or my psychologist. IIN is a great dumping ground for my sins.

      • I think more women do it, than you think. They just like to hide it.

I DO feel bad about it. VERY bad. But when I was little I ran over a bird with my bike because I was curios to see the insides, and the blood.

I think gender has nothing to do with this. Just how crazy you are. Anybody can be crazy.

        • This is like dexter 😯 Have you ever thought about killing a human?

        • Yes women certainly do it, but it's not a pathology often found in them.

"But when I was little I ran over a bird with my bike because I was curios to see the insides"

You know, a childhood friend of Jeffery Dahmer said that when they were fishing once Jeff pulled out a pocket knife and slashed a fish to pieces.
Shocked, he asked Jeffery "what did you do that for?" Jeffery replied "I just wanted to see what it looked like"

          Spooooooky.

"I think gender has nothing to do with this. Just how crazy you are. Anybody can be crazy."

Both things have nothing to do with it, people with such proclivities are very rarely crazy. Most animal abusers are sadists and/or people within the scope of anti-social disorder, almost always absent of psychosis. That's why serial killers never successfully plead insanity.

          • Well, I'd never kill anybody. I'm too conceited to do that. Why would I want to waste my time doing that? Why would I want to risk myself going to jail over that? Just not worth it. Plus I'm afraid of that shit happening to me Lmfao.

      • Sounds like you're probably a sociopath!

        • I see a head doctor every month. He says that I'm almost a "textbook" hedonistic-narcissist.

He told me that anti social (sociopathy) personality is more extreme and doesn't fit me.

          The real difference being:

Sociopaths have little conscience because they simply never had a real one to begin with.

A narcissist has little conscience because they know it gets in the way of what they want.

          • Hmm... I'll have to make note of that. I have a friend who self identifies as a narcissist. He hasn't been formally diagnosed as I assume he's happy with his with presumed self diagnosis but I do recall hearing him say he doesn't feel guilty for things he does wrong. He also says he doesn't tend to get embarrassed.

I'm a practicing Catholic so I don't mind feeling guilty and examining my conscience. Hell, as long as it doesn't manifest in codependent behavior.

    • My apologies, it's the use of T9 auto text and the 3x4 phone pad + insomnia. To a Queenslander the term mate is asexual. 'Just such them in the head' should read 'just punch them in the head' and 'don't let then' should be , 'don't let them' and 'eye gouge them he' should read 'eye gouge them if'.
Although violent behaviour or desires thereof are more prevalent in men, I know a number of extremely violent women, all related.

      • I find women to be way more violent than men. P. M . S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Men are much calmer, and nicer, and sweeter and way more gentle, and caring. That is all.
