If they are of the right attitude and disposition, and you are willing to do what it takes.... No reason you cannot keep them with their consent to be part of a poly relationship group.
That takes effort on your part to make that work. But it can be done (I've often had 2 most of my life - virtually all in multi-years long term relationships; they all knew up front before agreeing to have sex with me that it would be a poly relationship and what the expectations and rules were; and they have usually met each other).

However, many ladies are not up to that.
In my case I have never gotten involved sexually with multiple ladies without them both knowing up front about the other and getting their agreement.
I'll also say that getting permission up front and setting rules are key to making poly relationships work up front (open relationship/marriage "free for all's" virtually always fall apart).
