Surfers would be really bummed out if you destroyed tides. And everyone else would be bummed out as the moon stabilises the earth's axis. Seasons would become almost random and life on this planet would struggle to survive.
You might as well destroy the earth and get it over and done with. Although, to be fair, unless you were in an African village, writing your post on a communal solar-powered laptop, you probably are doing your share to destroy the planet already.
