Is it normal i hate the bachelor (series) because of feminism

I was watching The bachelor today & I had to change the channel because I got so angry. These beautiful women who can have any guy they want but they're on some tv show vying for some guy's attention. Just to clarify I am not anti-man at all my being a feminist is for equality between sexes. What is so special about a guy that 25 or so women have to beg for his attention, being handed a rose if he decides you're worth it. Is it normal to feel this way.

    I know what you mean, but it's dumb reality television in which women are encouraged to be bitchy and competitive to create 'drama', nothing more than that. Of course it's imbalanced.

    But there are plenty of reality television shows which are just as sexually uneven. Don't bother watching them unless you can ignore the ridiculousness of it all. I feel like my brain's melting when I glimpse any of that rubbish...

    Not sure if you realise but this is how real life dating feels like for most men who have to compete for women and it also feels like they are the prize and doing the winner a favour. Take it as a positive discrimination experiment in reverse.

    I think the Bachelor series is completely stupid from a feminist point of view because it reduces all the women to the most negative of stereotypes.

      I don't like or hate The bachelorette but I can stand it mainly because it's the woman in a position of "power" it's not the girl thinking they need the guy and I kinda like that, It's not putting a guy on a pedestal and saying pick me pick me.

    It's tv. Being on it and winning is a big boost of motivation for them. It makes them feel wanted if they win. Some may truly look for love and being on tv is just another way of finding it even if they lose. The cattiness and all the drama just comes naturally.

    Women are not equal to men. Get over it. You have been brain washed just like all the people that believe in god, Jesus or anything else related to "religion". Women are not men. Tell me what happened to the first woman that tried to land a fighter jet on an aircraft carrier? SHE CRASHED AND DIED. Women in American are brainwashed tools.
