Is it normal: i hate shaking hands

i hate how shaking hands is a tradition to greet people. its not because i am afraid of germs, its just i see its pointless to shake someones hand. like for example last week was a huge family reunion and my uncle called me disrespectful because i went to hug him instead of putting my hand out for a handshake. from my point of view its a pointless tradition.

  • Would you like to shake my cock?

  • Same here. My reasons for it are also practical. I don't like the fact that in my country that handshake is one of the man forms of greeting. Why can't we do what Japan does by bowing at different levels? Handshaking unnerves me on so many different levels. When I think about it the only people (person) that I'm alright with making hand contact have been certain doctors.

  • Yes. I'd rather nod or bow. Shaking hands is troublesome.

  • I only hate it when people have sweaty or clammy hands. Eww.

  • I always hated that in church, especially when someone had a cold.

  • I totally agree. I don't see why a simple "Hello" or a healthier greeting isn't enough for some people.

  • I see what you're saying, but for that matter putting your arms around someone's torso and squeezing them and patting them on the back could be pointless. Sticking your tongue in another person's mouth and mixing your saliva and food particles with theirs could be considered pointless and disgusting.
