Yeah, it's the whole "the grass is greener on the other side" thing. Only sometimes it is, sometimes your grass is brown and wilted. I live in Canada and no one's taking care of the grass here. No fertilizer, no water, nothing.
I too wish I could live where they have bamboo growing everywhere, but you never know what it's gonna be like. Shifting cultures generally doesn't work, most countries don't want outsiders on their grass and will treat you with hostility if you try to.
