My personal take, if you have the money to move, you should never be asking anyone to help you move...ever. It's easy to find out how much money someone makes by their job title and company, so there's really no mystery with the internet.
For instance, my brother and his shall we say, "queen syndromeish" wife, are both 39 years old, make GREAT money, have no kids, and they're asking the family to help them move.
This situation is RIDICULOUS. You have the means to hire movers. Don't inconvenience people with this bullshit.
You aren't 22 years old needing to move out of an apartment. You're mature, wealthy for the average population, and have the means.
In my opinion, it's beyond rude to ask people, when this is the situation. I mean, moving is not easy, and it comes with many possible injury risks. That's why professionals should be doing this.
