I don't usually write letters, or receive any either (shame, isn't it?). If I do sit down to write an initiating letter, I would have proper motivation behind it and therefore would make more of a conscious effort. If it comes to replying to a letter with a letter, then the effort is much bigger so the task becomes much more dreadful.
Is it normal I hate answering emails?

Yeah, writing letters is almost a lost art.
So it seems like you would get the same sort of anxiousness then. That is why I asked, I just wondered if it would be any different.
