Bullies don't always realize that they actually are "bullies". So when you point out to a person how horribly they treated you and how it made your life miserable, it may come as a surprise to them. Or maybe they know it, but they feel too ashamed to apologize to you. Even if they laugh at your accusations now, they will grow up (one day) and they will most likely regret how they treated you.
If they asked for your forgiveness (and they were serious), would you give it?
I'm 36 years old. One of my childhood buddies sent me a letter of apology on Facebook a couple of years ago. It felt good to have them acknowledge their shitty behaviour and I forgave them - it felt like the right thing to do.
Is it normal I harbor such anger from the past.
