Probably not the time to say this, but at first I read "parrot" as "carrot" and I was a bit confused to say the least.
But anywayyyy - it's completely normal and expected to mourn the death of a pet. It'll probably take a long while for this not to consume your mind so much as it seems you were really close - but as you probably already know, suicide isn't going to solve anything. There's no step-by-step solution to how to "get over this", but you could start by distracting yourself. Get new hobbies, go out, etc. And maybe eventually you could get a new pet. But regardless if you do or not, I think the only way for this to pass is to just wait it out, sadly.
IIN I get extremely emotional about my pets death?
