Look, man..."dating" is just an avenue that gives you the opportunity to spend time with various people in order to hopefully find someone who's compatible. And that's all it really is. To make a consious effort to give up on "dating" is to choose to give up on yourself. We all should know by now that life is FAR more rewarding and worth living when you're sharing it with a person's who's right for you.
So don't close your mind, man. Keep fighting the good fight and though you may not be currently actively seeking someone, keep your mind open and stay receptive.
