Not necessarily, I do things like that sometimes, but I've learned to control the urges. I feel like you should catch yourself and try and force yourself not to do it early on, so that it doesn't become a bigger obession.
I think if you are aware that you are doing it, and make an effort to stop, then you will be just fine. :) But you have to ask yourself why you are doing it in the first place. If you are doing it to be a good person and to save someone else the work of fixing the issue, then by all means. But be aware of your feelings while you are fixing the object. Are you anxious? Imagine in your head if you were to NOT fix it. How uncomfortable would that make you?
Why would I stop it? You are just asking me to be a terrible person. Its not necessarily but its not necessarily negative. Its more helpful, but no one is required to help when they are not asked. I do it since I see its wrong and I need to fix it. It corn goes in ail 8, it belongs in ail 8.
It all depends on your motivation. I'm not asking you to be a terrible person. As I said above, if your motive is to help then you should go for it. You know yourself better than I do... Why do you think you are doing it? For control? Or to help?
I not sure what your saying. Your saying dont fix it and than do fix it. Your not making any real sense anymore. Either way I dont see how any of this is detrimental in anyways. Since regardless of why I am doing it most people would see it as being a good Samaritan.
IIN I fix things even when there is no reason to?

If this is strictly in situations where you are trying to help others that is totally cool, but does it happen outside of that?
