I see no problem with it if you're already at the place, like happening to walk over a parking lot and take the cart to the correct spot at the same time. But if you run around the store for half an hour just to put things were they belong, I think it's a problem.
I can relate to you though.
No, I also use to do this at my old job. It was technically my job but I would be doing it after hours. My job coach yelled at me telling me I not suppose to do stuff when I am off the clock. I use to be a store stocker.
