  • How would you define art, then? Just painting? If so, that is an extremely narrow view you have.

    • Didn't say it was just painting, but continue. Please tell me about my narrow mind. I'm curious.

          • I find it funny that you are acting so hostile toward anyone who disagress with you. I honestly can't tell whether you are trolling, or just simply this arrogant and narrow-minded, that you think that just because you see something one way, everyone else should, as well.

I draw, sing, and write stories, and I would definitely consider them akk to be forms of art. Not all art is the same. An art is something that expresses your thoughts or ideas, and allows for other people to somewhat relate to them, or feel what the person is trying to convey. And just like painting, drawing, etc, it takes a very skilled person to be able to sing in a way that expresses his/her emotion, and it takes a huge amount of skill to be able to really affect someone on an emotional level through your writing, whether it be through song, or stories.

Here's a quote i think holds true to this discussion:

"From the point of view of form, the type of all the arts is the art of the musician. From the point of view of feeling, the actor's craft is the type." -Oscar Wilde
