So I was wondering if it was a normal thing for a straight guy to think anime guys are sexy as hell but find guys in real life unappealing. I've jacked off to anime guys before but never even got hard looking at real guy.

    You're more normal than you think.

    People are thrown off because you say "anime guys," but it's no different to anime girls. Plenty of men find anime girls more appealing than real life women, so what makes anime guys any different.

    I guess it's because men in anime/cartoons in general can seem more appealing to the eyes and their characteristics are more positively made than real life peoples are.
