Yes, it is his choice but you obviously have no clue what an addiction is like and why a person does what they do so your encouragement is making it worse. You asked if it was normal so don't cop out with the b's of I don't do drugs, no what you're doing is actually much worse than doing them yourself. At least that would be somewhat understandable like oh she's got a problem too it makes sense. Young sound very insecure and want that bad boy look in your life but trust me you will grow out of it and it won't be cool anymore.
