Is it normal i feel this way about "diversity"

  • I didn't read it I don't care. All I'd say diversity theoretically, would lead to new experiences you would other wise not have. And those would help you develop into a more well-rounded and wiser person, in general.

    Although I feel things like that should come set my naturally, when they're forced upon people, people generally react in a negative fashion

    • Theoretically you're right, it makes sense when you think about it. Unfortunately reality doesn't seem to back it up much. The most successful companies and organizations historically that achieved the most in the least amount of time, were a bunch of like minded people who look and think the same way.

      • We're not running the company though, we're talking about the youth and the education system, we're more speaking of developing the youth into well-rounded contributing members of society

        That's how you find yourself and you know who and what you are, it's more a matter of self-discovery their experiences you would otherwise not have.

        What is like I said before diversity for diversity sake, seems disingenuous , And most likely result in the opposite effect

          • more of whatever the fuck they are doing as a well-adjusted individual then as one wasting energy worrying about color of skin or sexual orientation or other crap i could care less about.
