Is it normal i feel strong emptiness when he's away

My boyfriend works 12 hrs on and off on a rotating 2 days on 3 days off 3 days on 2 days off schedule. Problem is, when he's working, he lives 1 hr away bc that's where his job is. But whenever he leaves and I have to spend nites alone without him, I feel a total empty feeling. I don't even look forward to coming home from work when he's not going to be there :(. Is it normal to feel so alone when he's gone?

    Try not to let yourself become too dependent on your boyfriend though. Its not healthy to be too attached just as much as it isn't healthy to be disconnected.
