I actually had to stop using FB because I would put pictures up or create a post and no one commented. I don't get it and felt rejected, a failure.
I get on really well with people in real life, but on social media it's a whole different ball game, and I just don't get what I'm doing wrong? Am I topically boring? Don't have 200+ friends on FB to increase the chance of responses? Too sensitive?

I did once read a funny article on the types of people and behaviour you see on FB, like the person that tells you every little boring details about what they do like "making a cup of tea now" - like anybody gives a crap, and the sympathy vampires making half statements to draw you in to a sympathy fest "It's awful..!"
The people that post non-stop on Facebook are just really emotionally needy people that need constant attention and reinforcement.
I've noticed that most people on my friends list really don't use the site much at all and it's the same dozen or so people that just post everything.
People on FB don't have real lives?! I won't understand why people keep saying that, I'm on FB every single day. I am addicted to Candy Crush but I do have a life beside that. I am studying, I have a job, I go out, I read a lot, I write and I know quite a number of other people on FB who have very interesting lives.
