I felt bad for McCain, because I think he got pushed into some dirty tactics and positions during his campaign that he doesn't really agree with. I still have respect for the more moderate John McCain of the past, as well as the man who refused early release from his imprisonment and torture in Vietnam.
I don't feel bad for Romney. I feel bad for him when I look at that one picture of him walking away from the podium after his concession speech, but then basically anything about his politics pops into my head, and I stop.
I have limited emotional resources. I only have so many fucks to give, and I can spare exactly zero for the likes of Mitt Romney. I'm not saying you shouldn't feel bad for him, mind. Feel how you feel.
