Is it normal i feel like this?

On the 12th of July my mum passed away, we had her funeral on the 17th. She had MND (it's the same thing Steven Hawking has) for over 2 and a half years.

I cried at the funeral, and since then I've felt sad for a few minutes maybe twice but the rest of the time I've just felt relieved/glad. Even when people bring it up I don't feel particularly sad when people bring it up, usually only when I go to places that remind me of her.

I don't want people to think I don't care about my mum, because I do. Idk why I feel glad/relieved or why I haven't felt very sad or numb about it.

  • Maybe you feel relieved because she's not suffering anymore, and you don't have to see her sick anymore.

Your mother likely would've wanted you to be at peace, too.

This is like the 10th post you've made.... are we missing something?
