Is it normal i feel like this?

On the 12th of July my mum passed away, we had her funeral on the 17th. She had MND (it's the same thing Steven Hawking has) for over 2 and a half years.

I cried at the funeral, and since then I've felt sad for a few minutes maybe twice but the rest of the time I've just felt relieved/glad. Even when people bring it up I don't feel particularly sad when people bring it up, usually only when I go to places that remind me of her.

I feel really horrible because I don't want people to think I don't care about my mum, because I do. Idk why I feel glad/relieved or why I don't feel very sad about it.

The grieving process is not the same for everyone. I think it's normal to feel relieved when someone who has gone through terrible suffering is no longer suffering. Try not to be too hard on yourself, or judge your own grieving process too harshly.

Not everyone cries for days and gets depressed because someone close to them passes away. After my mother passed I was sad and miss her but I was also happy that she is in a better place now. Everyone grieves differently and dont let anyone tell you differently.
