Because believing in Father Christmas (yes, I say Father Christmas, problem?) was a magical experience, it really makes you appreciate the holiday and the night before, and almost everyone finds out before their parents tell them. Sorry but I find this question silly, how can one possibly think it's pointless to make a child's Christmas worth waiting for?
I loved Christmas as much as my friends and more than most (and I still do). My parents never told me about Santa and I never believed. Christmas has far more meaning to kids than the beardy guy with the reindeer. Christmas is worth waiting for because you meet your family, you get presents, and there is fun and games. Magic isn't what makes it worth waiting for. You don't have to invent anything to make Christmas special, Christmas is special all by itself. Trust me :P
Is it normal I dont understand the point of santa claus?

I'm not the OP, but I do agree with them.
