Lesbian is a 'sexual' preference.
So when you go to a lesbian bar, I suspect 'sex' may come up!
Your best option is those gay/lesbian bars. Be sociable, make friends, get phone numbers (or Internet social contacts) then call them outside of the nightclub. I'm sure many there would love to be friends only.

Anyway its all about getting out and socializing.

I actually thought it was more the other way around.
If you act all excited and friendly and full of life, you may find you get lots of hugs and kisses off these barbie style girls. And even attract some of the more tom boyish girls.
I mean I would have thought its easy with girls, they are usually very 'touchy feely' that love physical contact.
I understand you want friends, but you may need to be one of the girls first ;)
