Yeah, it's normal. I am voting for Ron Paul in the primary, but since it's pretty obvious he's not going to win that, I have no idea who I've vote for in the main election.
Two other points:
Even if you can't get behind any presidential candidate, don't forget there will be other things to vote for. Perhaps there will be a state or local initiative that interests you.
It's a secret ballet, right? Your mother doesn't need to know how (or if) you vote.

You could write him in. No point maybe, but at least you're voting for who you like.
