I always felt that way, and I'm 18 as well. But I'm in a serious relationship now, and things have changed. Sometimes when you're with the right person, it changes everything. That might just be what you need. And if not, I think it's totally normal to be put off by the idea. I know I am!
I really do love my boyfriend more then the world itself, so I don't know that it's a problem, haha. We're going to get married in the not to distant future, but he dislikes them as much as I do. Still puts me off though, just, screaming smelling gooey.... blech xD
