I'm eighteen years old and I've never had a girlfriend, nor do I want one. Is that normal? I have a sex drive, I just don't feel comfortable dating anyone.

    I think relationships is an overrated trend in our society.

    Most people seem to hate being single. I don't get why? Why are people so needy to be around someone so they can make rules for each other. I get that most people want sex but most people want a relationship for sex. I wouldn't want to have a relationship only for sex though so it isn't worth it for me. I'm 29 and not sure if I'll ever have another relationship, not because I don't think I could find someone, but because I don't think I would be satisfied with it.

    Sometimes i feel like that too. I don't trust girls at all because of my past experiences. So i sometimes tell myself that i'm gonna stop dating and caring about sex/relationships, but, it's really hard to not fall into temptation. Girls flirt with me a lot and i'm too weak minded to resist them.

    Yes, it is normal to not be ready to commit at 18.
