    I suppose it happens because the vast majority of carriers don't even know they have an STD because they have no symptoms.

        You honestly believe STDs are transferred because carriers make the conscious decision to infect others? I'm glad I'm not as cynical as you.

          No, I believe people with std's have the same motivation as everyone else. They want to get laid.

            Well, I believe people with STDs have the remarkable, magical ability to avoid having sex for just the tiniest while until they get treated because realise that they wouldn't want it done to them.

            It's also against the law to infect someone else if you're aware of your status as a carrier.

                I'm on Cosmos side here, people are dirty. Also, it's only illegal to not inform a sexual partner of AIDS only..
