Is it normal I don't understand slut shaming?

  • I am not religious in the slightest.

While the body may not be "sinful" in and of itself, it is not something to be cheapened and flaunted like a piece of meat.

If you still can't see eye to eye with me on this matter, fine; just prove you're not all talk, and immediately make arrangements to enrich your daughter's wardrobe with a collection of thongs, tube tops and barely-existent shorts. I'm sure many guys would VERY much appreciate such a decision.

    • This discussion was never about girls, I don't believe. It was about women, who have a right to dress as they please. My daughters are grown women, and as such may dress as they choose, just as they may choose the partner of their choice.
I neither dictate to them or anyone else how they should live their lives.

ah, but it is on the part of the viewer to !perceive! the body as a piece of meat, and to perceive that person as someone who is only their body and who is cheap and who is degrading themselves for superficial attention.

Some viewers may see someone dressed scantily, and also see a vibrant personality and a beautiful soul at the same time. They don't have to contradict.
